Hair Prep For Styling

The foundation of a great hairstyle is always the prep and that starts before the time of your appointment. These tips will help me to create the gorgeous style you dream of!

1. Wash hair within 24 hours
   
2. Use a clarifying shampoo and wash twice - makeup sure to really scrub the roots/scalp to remove any product buildup and oil
   
3. ​Blow dry smooth (unless using your natural texture)
4. Use a volumizing product at root when drying
5. No tight ponytails, clips or messy buns - these will leave unwanted dents in the hair
6. Arrive with inspo (preferably from your artist’s portfolio)
